I am here asking fo ryou help in finding our first Christmas ornament. I have looked online and haven't found what I am lookign for. I have seen some outdated ornaments for newly weds, but nothing for this year. Can anyone help me, please? It doesn't even have to say "our first christmas"...just something with the year on it or that I can get engraved.

I bought one on Ebay for my friend, that got married two weeks before me. She'll love it, but it's not really my style. I was wondering when do I give it to her? It's a Christmas gift for them both, BUT it is an ornament. Do I give it early?

Are you Bees getting first year ornaments? If so, what do they look like?

Treasure43 had a thread about this yesterday, have a peek at what she found. I've also been looking around for one, and I've found TONS of Etsy. Just search "personalized Christmas ornament" and literally you'll get thousands of results!

Here is a link to the Love, Anniversary, Wedding section at Bronners (the worlds largest christmas store) http://www.bronners.com/categories/christmas-ornaments/love-wedding-anniversary

I have purchased from Bronners before and they do a great job. Everything looked beautiful and everything was very safely packaged.

I don't like to shop online, but most malls actually have ornament kiosks about this time of year. Really cute stuff similar to the picture you posted, only you can see it in person and pick a font and color for personalization. I'm still old fashioned about shopping!

This is kind of neat, and you can design it yourself! Go to www.designhergals.com and they have customizable ornaments on there :] They're pretty fun to make!

At the mall kiosks they do personalize them for free, at least in Indiana. But, again, I am really leery about online shopping. You don't have to be a fuddy duddy like me, lol

@mrsv2be: I got ours from the mall kiosk also here in NYC :)

As far as whether or not you can get your name on it, it will just depend on if the ornament has room or not. Ours just has the year.

It's hard to tell, but it says "First Christmas" up at the top.

We've been doing 1st Christmas, 2nd Christmas etc and over the years added it so it was an ornament for us and our "family" aka cats lol. This year we are starting over with the ornaments since it will be our first married year. We got this http://www.hallmark.com/online/in-stores/keepsake-ornaments/2010/ornament-detail/?id=fflo_qxg7693 as a gift from my SIL's IL's...so sweet of them to think of us. I'll still buy one for us and the cats though Laughing
