It sounds like fun!!!!

Enjoy your day!  Maybe you can incorporate candy gift bags, like the kind people give out on holloween?

hehe Corpse Bride is our cake topper!

Glad to see another Halloween Bride on here 🙂 I get all sorts of funny responses from people when I tell them I’m getting married on Halloween.. but I don’t care. It’s my favorite holiday! We’re not going the costume route though.  We thought about it but it would have been too hard for a lot of our guests to manage!

I’m so jealous.  I would have LOVED to get married on Halloween, but I chickened out.  Too afraid some of my crazy relatives would show up in awful costumes. Like, in leotards with cat tails pinned to them.  In fact, I’m afraid they might anyways, even though our wedding is 2 weeks before!

I’m a Hallowedding bride too!  We knew we wanted to get married in the fall, but most vendors don’t start giving deals until November – the "off-season".  However, upstate NY in November is a crap shoot when it comes to weather.  Our number one choice of reception location was willing to give us an AWESOME deal for an Oct. 31 wedding.  For one thing, it was close enough to November, and for another, they didn’t have anything else booked that day.  We were trying to have them price match from another place, and while they didn’t, it came close.  Guess they figured a smaller income is better than no income at all!

I’m a Halloween bride as well. IT was the only Fall Saturday open at our venue other than the Saturday after Thanksgiving when we booked last November. I’m not happy about it but too late now. My only nod to Halloween is a candy table. However I am using  Fall decor.

I’m jealous too! I originally wanted to get married on Halloween but my FI thought it was a little weird. I found some really great Halloween/Fall ideas online when I first thought about planning it. Martha Stewart has some good ideas on her site too!

Good luck, I bet it’s going to be really creative and cute!

Another Halloween Bride Checking In….

I am so excited. I also have a corpse bride cake topper, did you all special order them on-line? I did it is so cool. We are not doing costumes either. We are however letting children wear their costumes if they want and setting up bowls of candy on the tables for them to "trick or treat" from table to table. We were thinking of having our ring bearer carry our rings in one of those Jack o laterns that children use for getting candy on halloween instead of him carrying a pillow. Just a few Halloween touches so the wedding is classy but unique and fun.

Awww, more Halloween brides! Love it.  I am doing a Fall with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. Not all out Halloweeny, but a few touches here and there.  We will be providing Costumes for the guests.

What kind of costumes are you providing for your guests. We were actually thinking about getting opera type masks for everyone to pass out at the reception.
