So, I was super excited about how our engagement photos turned out. Our photographer (TM Photography - Cincinnati) is AWESOME!
Here's a link to the slideshow she created of our IKEA eSession. She also took some at our house, but I'll have to post those later!
Yay! I'm already finished making a guestbook out of these photos and I am just so pumped to see it once it's bound!

@baletrina: The staff were super cool about the whole thing. I called their PR agent before we went just to get some sort of approval (I didn't want to get kicked out!). They were all about it. They let us do pretty much whatever we wanted. The employees were giving us ideas and the customers were even having fun watching. There was one that even jumped in one of our photos with us!
It was a lot more relaxing goofing off in IKEA than I thought. There were just so many things to do, we weren't ever sitting there wondering what to do next. We just hammed it up and had fun!
I loooooooove the one of you cooking with the mennonites in the background. Who knew they liked IKEA?!
Also, that IKEA is my fav. A trip to IKEA + Jungle Jim's = happy place.

To answer questions above: We decided to do an IKEA shoot just so we could do something a little different. There's nothing wrong with the field/park/graffiti/home engagement shoots, but we just felt like if we went that route, we would feel awkward trying to pose and get the shots. We're really good at being goofy, so we thought the "sets" in IKEA would be Perfect to really let loose. I saw a couple of other folks do IKEA shoots, but they did the sexy/romantic shoots. We decided to put our own spin on it and we love what we ended up with. We asked permission in advance and the whole store was really great about letting us run wild! The customers were fun too! I'm just glad our vision came to life!! It's SO great when things turn out like you want!
