It look likes its coming along great.
Since its rustic, I think taking a sandpaper to the top and edges a bit would really help give it the rustic look and soften the stain on it.

Complete with giant photo...
Saw an inspiration for this on a blog and HAD to make one. I printed the font out on my computer and made my own stencils--so. time. consuming. Its still in progress--needs some fancy pants scrolling and I'm going to add a quote, but I'm excited by how its going so far!
