After the trials and tribulations of an unexpected pregnancy and a week or so later a heartbreaking miscarriage, my fiance and I decided to push the wedding from October 9, 2010 to March 20th, 2010.
Yes ladies. 7 short weeks away. We were able to move the baker and photographer up, get a new DJ and a new hall. Our colors have changed from fall to spring, still incorporating the main chocolate truffle color that our centerpieces and favors were geared to. Our theme was Chocolate and Coffee... it's how we met....
Anyways... we are having a close family friend preside over the wedding, and my dress will be in in the nick of time... and I couldn't be happier. We have several chefs on each side of the family and we are going to pull something together with them. Not really potluck... just home prepared.
We are SO excited. All of the stress has been lifted off of our backs. Thankfully we had Most of the details cemented down after week 3 of wedding planning, with a few concessions... Big tall round vases instead of small square ones etc.
Our invites go out tomorrow. The world doesn't seem like it could be more perfect. Wish me luck ladies, it is the best decision I have ever made.
