those are the cutiest things EVER! Are you having a stuffing party with your BMs?
@indyJEEP: omg date twin !!! i am going crazy cause i havent find any invitation the i like for the wedding urs are so pretty !!!
those are gorgeous! Is that the kind that opens up and there are pockets inside?
Thanks ladies :)
@MrsNeutrino: Haha yes I'm hoping that I can bribe everyone into helping with some good wine and gossip ;)
@catracha: I know, we had a really hard time finding something that we liked that we could actually afford! Invites are so ridiculously expensive! Luckily, I found the ribbon on clearance at Michael's and added that part myself, so I think we probably saved a little money there. We got these from MagnetStreet.com if you wanted to look around there - still kinda pricey, but we got our save the date's from there and we were very satisfied with the service and products we received so we decided it was worth the cost.
@MrsCoachBtoBee: I guess it is called a "petal holder," but it doesn't have any pockets inside... just unfolds all cute-like hehe :) Nobody can seem to put it back together once they unfold it though lol
Where did you find those? I don't want that exact one but i'd love to know what company makes such unique invites :)
@Dsquared: We got them from MagnetStreet.com - we had our magnet save the date's made by them and they sent a giant catalog of paper invitations with our order and a lot of them were cute so I went on the site and ended up finding our invites there :)
@jenn6051: Aw, thank you! The ribbon didn't come with them...... I was actually having a slight bridezilla moment about colors matching and came up with the ribbon as a solution. I'm very happy with the way they turned out though :)
Wow, love it! Magnet street has some great stuff, but more than I want to pay =P
@MrsNeutrino: I know, right? I was very pleasantly surprised :)
@MaiFuture: Thank you! Yeah we were deterred by the prices at first, but then I actually received a 20% coupon thingy in my email so we decided to purchase them after all.
I think I actually have another offer code somewhere in my email.... I can send it to whoever wants it, but I think it is a one-time-use only type of thing, so whoever wants it can have it haha
Some friends of ours just got their invites from MagnetStreet, too, they said they got a good deal after they ordered their STDs. They make really nice invitations--yours look great! You have much more patience than I do, though. I wanted to do ribbons but I tried tying a few and decided I was too lazy. Maybe it's because I can't tie as nice a bow as you :)
I have the same question as MsNeutrino...how does the inside look? I LOVE the ribbon by the way. The bow is tied so neatly.
@MrsNeutrino: & @JamaicaBride: Ok, I took some more pictures... here are some of the inside :)
Anddd I'm pretty sure that our neighbors think I'm insane now, since I was taking them out on the sidewalk in front of our house lol... they kept flying away in the wind, so I'm sure it was a fairly entertaining scene if anyone was watching!
Ok, so here's what the invite looks like when you first open it up (we did RSVP postcards instead of envelopes).

Here's the purely-decorative vellum paper (it is on top of the invitation, so you can actually see bits of the invite through the vellum paper).

Here's the invite inside the petal holder

Here's a close-up of the actual invite (sorry these aren't the best photos)

Here's what the outside of the petal holder looks like (not the best photo, sorry). The inside is an all-over teal floral print.

Aw, thanks for all the invite love, guys! Hehe.
@pink.sequins: & @MaraBeth: & @JamaicaBride: & @JessesGirl: Haha thank you for the bow tying compliments :) hehe! When I was in high school I worked at a high-end retail store and I started the job around Christmas, so they had me do gift wrapping for my entire first week. I was so mad about wrapping everything that I almost quit by the end of the week, no joke! After that, I was the go-to gift wrapper if anyone needed it done (bleh!). I didn't wrap any of my own Christmas gifts that year haha.... nothing but gift bags from me! I ended up working there for two years, so I guess I got pretty good at tying bows by the time I quit ;) lol

Not the best photo, but you get the idea :)
Now I just have to fold, tie ribbons on, stuff and seal about 79 more of those suckers.... lol
