Our little cat Kika disappeared on Monday. He’s never not come home before. Darling Husband figured he may have climbed in ht e back of a furniture delivery truck that delivered at our house that day. 🙁 We got the list of places the truck went after us, but they’re all miles away. We’re going to those neighborhoods with posters today and have already contacted the vet, humane society, put ads on craigslist, etc. He has a little tattoo in his ear, so hopefully someone will find him and bring him back. His kitty brother is looking all over for him and that is making us even sadder. These are our first pets, and we are just devastated by this. I am trying to stay positive, but it seems unlikely that he;ll be found. Just needing some support – my co workers are not animal lovers. 🙁

Oh my god, I’m so sorry! That’s awful. I’ll be thinking of you and your kitty and sending good thoughts your way. I know how much pain and worry you must be going through. *Hugs* Keep us updated, please!

Oh my goodness, good luck! Buy lots of wet food cans and leave them outside buy your door. You will get some ohter animals possibly, but maybe your little man will find his way home.

OH NO! I’m so sorry 🙁 I am a real cat person and I would be devastated, and probably not able to work. Dramatic? yea, but they are furbabies! Wishing you good luck.

OH NO!!!!!! Not gonna lie, my eyes are watering just thinking about that. My furbabies are my babies =(

You poor thing! I hope he returns home soon, I’m sure you are worried sick.
(If it’s any consolation….When I was little, I had an outdoor cat that had been missing for 6 months before he returned home! Never lose hope!)

Miss Pinot is correct—cats have a way of getting home….My grandparents lost their cat for months and months, so long that they actually gave up and got a new one. Then one day, their lost cat was sitting on their back step!

I’m so sorry, one of my cats vanished last year and it was devastating. It sounds like you’re being proactive and doing all that you can to find him. I hope he makes his way home soon. ((hugs))

Oh my! I hope you find him. Many happy thoughts/prayers for your kitties safe return!

When you can, go to the shelter and look yourself. It is good to notify them, but even better to look yourself.

Aw! I am so sorry to hear about your kitty! I hope you find some good news.

Thanks everyone for your support. I think some of my friends think I’m going a little overboard, but he is really a member of our family, and your thoughts and comments really help.

There is no such thing as going overboard in a situation like this.
I know how you feel though. People think that all the time about how I treat/worry about my girls.

Oh no, I’m so sorry! I hope he’ll be found. I’m confident that he will be. People generally want to help when this stuff happens. My cat did this before years ago, it turned out he just found a friend and they took a kitty vacay. I hope he turns up soon!
