Just want to share how our favor looked like, maybe it could inspire one of you out there (or more). So this is a decorative ceramic plate coming with a stand (like a souvenir, to be put on a rack or table). The pictures are four different beautiful places we visited together before we got married (two in Indonesia, my home country, two in Croatia, his home country). We just put our initials and the wedding date.
We bought the ceramic white plates on wholesale, designed the pictures ourselves, paid a vendor to print the design on the plate. So now our guests can have them displayed somewhere in the corner at their houses! Maybe not everyone liked it, but so far whenever we visited a friend, we saw the plate at their living room!
Share if you also have some meaningful favors!

I really like it! But I have a few decorative plates on a picture rail in my dining room so i am biased 🙂

Oh I’m biased too, my Mom collects plates from all the countries she has visited, so I fell in love with her collection and decided on this 😉

I love that. If only I had it in my budget…

That looks like a pricey favor. Def not something we could swing but it’s such a great idea. I would love to get something like that at a wedding!

Believe it or not, it was not pricey at all. Mostly because we made it in Indonesia (we had our wedding there), although I live in Europe so we communicate with the vendor with the help of my sister who’s living down there. We bought the white regular chinese made ceramic plates for USD 2 each, the design we created by ourselves and the printing on the plate we paid USD 1 for each, plus we ordered the stand around USD 1 each and the paper bag around USD 1, all in all it was around USD 5 per favor. Hmm, now, I don’t know what a regular favor usually costs in the states?
