It didn't come out exactly as I wanted but there's no going back now.  Overall though I'm glad we have this on our home.

    That's fabulous. Who's the artist?

Mazel tov! Where did you get it done? I'm looking into options for after our wedding.

I'd rather not say the artist because as I said, it's not really what I asked he/she to do.  The glass DH broke was clear w/ a white base (it's a glass from his parents' reception at their wedding 44 years ago) and I had asked that he/she incorporate a tiny bit of blue but preserve the design that was on the white part of the glass.  Obviously it's very blue and you can't see the star design at all that had been on the base of the glass.

There are several companies that will make a mezuzah from your wedding glass, just google it but I'd rather not give this artist a chance to mess someone else's up.

i know you're not happy with it, but from an outside perspective, I would say that it looks beautiful!

So pretty! We were going to do the same thing, but received Shabbat candlesticks as a wedding gift that has a center tube for shards from the wedding glass. It's gorgeous- and I L-O-V-E your mezuzah! Something to look at everyday when you come home reminding you of the best day ever!

For anyone else who is looking, we had ours done by Etsy seller enidtraisman.  I love it, and it's exactly what we asked for.  It was surprisingly reasonable in cost--just $46 including the shipping.  Here is a picture:

Oh, WOW! I had no idea one could do this!!! We actually don't have our wedding glass, can you believe that it's the one thing nobody was delegated to 'do'? My brother has a piece so he claims but will not give it to us (don't ask, I gave up, seriously??? because it's more important to HIM? really? lol!) Anyway... what an amazing idea, and I will for sure have this done for BOTH my bebe's when they are growed-up and married! Beautiful!!!
