Bees, I am shaking and close to tears I'm so angry right now. We live in a townhouse/condo set up where she leaves underneath our place. She is constantly leaving passive-agressive notes in our mailbox, in neighbour's mailboxes, in houses around us' mailboxes...it's ridiculous (she's on the condo board and think she's in charge of everything). She's gotten upset with us for slamming the door (we don't), for our dog barking because neighbors are complaining (we asked and no one said they noticed except for right when we leave and then she stops), and lately she's taken to banging on our roof if our dog jumps around (like when we're going for a walk and she's excited) or last night she did it cuz our dog was chewing a bone against the floor and I guess she heard it.
Our dog is APPROVED to live here. I like to think we're decent neighbors. We never throw parties and I try to make sure we never have the tv too loud. We've bought our dog a bark collar (the spray kind) so I know that that's also under control. I just don't know what to do right now. We really don't want to move at this point, as we'd like to save up more money first, and I don't want to be forced out of here by this woman...but WTF!? Oh...and we clean up after our dog cuz she goes in a common area. If we don't have a bag on us at the moment, we come back after. Just yesterday DH went out and cleaned up ALL the poop out there (other condo owners have dogs, and it's a public space that others walk their dogs in).
I've called the condo board but had to leave a voicemail. What should I do?!? I want to go down and just scream my face off at her, but I imagine that won't work so well...
Oh...and yes there is mail in our mailbox..
Take picture of it and report her!!! That type of behaviour is totally not acceptable!! You should also type up a written complaint about her and all the crazy stuff she is doing.
I do NOT blame you. WHAT A B! Shoot, I'd consider calling the cops for the federal charge of mail tampering...

Umm...wow. I honestly woudl file a report with the police. Tampering with your mailbox is a federal offense.

Call authorities. Save every piece of evidence you can. Get people to complain as well.

Or, if you're mean like me, put the poop in a brown paper bag. Set it on her doorstep, light it on fire, ring her doorbell, and RUN LIKE HELL!!!

You can actually call the police. Technically she tampered with your mail. I would show her who's boss. Stop crying and shaking and show her who is in control of this mess. She's a bully.

Take a picture, do not remove the poo, call the police. Seriously. She sounds unstable and I wouldnt confront her unless you have police with you or a report on file.
Odd of you to post this, two days ago I came home and there was crap on our doorstep next to our door. FI said our dog did not do it. I believe someone let their dog poop there out of anger...for something. Not sure what. I'm totally calling the police if I come home to it again! We live in a similar environment as you do and neighbors are crazy!
I agree, call the police. Your condo board will only do so much, in some places it is very difficult to evict people. The police report should help their cause and get her the F away from you!

Phone the police. Sometimes having large men with badges show up is enough for the crazies to stop. Good luck!
Omg! I'm so sorry but I laughed when I read your first sentence! Obviously the rest is NOT funny at all. I agree with PPs, take a picture, and I'd file a police report to be honest. It's pretty easy to do in Canada. Document everything that's happened so far and just drive on over to the police station, it doesn't take that long. Good luck with this nutbar!

Our neighbors dog pooped on the rug infront of our door outside & ripped all through our garbage then pooped on our other neighbor's rug. Needless to say when I went to pay rent yesterday she told me how everyone was complaining so I finally told her yes their dog also pooped on our rug & ripped up our garbage.
Definitely file a police report. This is harrassment and it is NOT okay.

Oh and just to add messing with someone elses mail is SERIOUS! So yes, please do report this!

Take photographic evidence and contact the police, and keep calling the condo board until you get an answer. Have you kept any of her notes? If not, start collecting them and make a log of all the contact you have with her so you can establish a record of her obsessive behavior.
What a nutjob. I hope she gets booted off that board so fast it makes her head spin.
@soon2bhis: you can still call the cops and tell them your suspisions. See what they have to say about it, they'll tell you what you can do.

Echoing what everyone else has said... Document the evidence (don't move it), call the police, make sure it gets reported to the board, etc. What a rude bitch!
@soon2bhis: that is horrible behavior from someone who is on the board! My sister and I rented a townhouse before I got married. I noticed none of the homeowners liked renters..but this one guy in particular just found any and every excuse to come knock on our door and complain. some people you just can't please no matter how hard you try.
@soon2bhis: I don't know for sure, but aren't their laws about recording people without their knowledge?
