We’re finally just about done with our nursery! Baby T is due March 19. I painted wood letters from Michael’s to put above his changing area/dresser. I’m going to add a command hook on the side of the dresser to hang our wetbag. We haven’t decided what to do with the disposable diapers for the first few weeks until he fits into the one-size cloth stash we’re building up.
I assembled the crib tonight. It was pretty easy, but took a little while to get it all together. I was on my own since DH was watching the game. I didn’t mind though, I was able to work at my own pace. The canvas needs to be hung. I posted a while back about what to do with our decal dilema. We ended up getting a canvas, putting the decals on it, and sealing it with modpodge.
This is my nursing/reading/rocking nook. I found the end table at a local antique place for $20. The rocker was conveyed to us with our house and is super comfy.
We need to build our baby book stash (or start it?). I also want to get a few more wicker baskets like the one on the bookshelf to hold more toys/rattles and keep the book shelf neat. The full size bed is staying for a while, and the quilt was a gift from my husband’s g-ma. She made it herself, along with two baby quilts and a larger quilt for our cal king bed that she gave us at our wedding.
I’m still debating on what to do fora mobile. I had an idea for a DIY project, but I don’t think I have the talent to pull it off.

I love the color on the wall! That is what I want for either a boy or a girl. Looks good!!!

CUUTEE! For a Mobile, you can get some little monkey dolls or make them out of fabric (maybe bananas too) and hang them from some crossed wooden sticks? You can hang the whole thing from a hook on the ceilling maybe?

The paint is called Sanctuary and is made my Behr. We had it color matched to a different no VOC paint. My dad has it in the downstairs of his house as well and I LOVE it. So calming. Not to pale, but also not too bold.

Looks great! Love the green walls. That’s one of my favorite colors! Logan is going to love it! 🙂

I love the color! It’s very close to the color we picked for Addie’s room. 🙂 And the white background with the “no more monkeys jumping on the bed” sticker turned out really cute. Great job!

Very nice! I love your reading nook, I’m in the process of finishing clearing out the baby’s room so I can start setting up ours, I might have to steal some of your ideas.
