Our officiant double booked our date…

I’m glad you have another option that you can go with without there being a huge hassle! 

 

I’m a little confused though on why she even scheduled that close together when it sounds like she knew it could end up being an issue?

Seems odd to me and I’d be very disappointed. If the other one is a rehearsal, why can’t her husband do that while she attends to your wedding? I don’t feel like this is all your fault since she was cutting it so close anyway. She might have been late no matter what if there was bad traffic or something.

that would bug me too…. if she has your wedding on the books for a date then anything else should be scheduled around it. I mean yes you did move it up a bit (30 m) but still she would need to have been there by that time anyways so if its cutting it so close already then she should have someone else do her rehearsal.

 

I would look into a refund or other options because it wouldn’t give me a good feeling to be waiting/worrying about my officiant showing
