- Wedding: March 2013
We’re married! yay! and I have lots of pictures to show you! I was lucky using my brother as a photographer because it meant I could bully him for photos immediately! so these are all before any sort of processing or correcting
This is me chilling in a park with a dog before the ceremony. you know how people always say that the bride is always late? NO. the bride is late because she has to be the last to arrive! the guests are the ones that hold everything up! argh. I was ready an hour early for photos and I swear we spent soooo long standing around in this park before we got the all clear to head to the ceremony!
wwalking ‘down the aisle’ (across the park) with my dad
Here’s our beautiful ceremony spot! we ‘planted’ hundreds of fake flowers in the ground to create the ‘aisle’ and it looked amazing.
cutting our awesome book cake in front of my favourite city in the world. we’re living overseas at the moment so I now get a bit homesick whenever I look at the pictures – I’m so glad we chose a spot with such a good view of the city.
Here’s that awesome cake. one of my favourite lines from the day was hearing one of our friends say ‘mmmm… books are delicious’ as he stuffed his third piece of cake in his mouth! haha
laughing at the awkwardness of ‘kissing’ for five minutes in front of my older brother!
Playing on the swings while the boys hold our flowers. a little kid wanted to go on them and his mum wouldn’t let him because she wanted to take photos of us on her phone!
Walking down the road to the reception. I really love this photo for some reason. I think I’m just missing sydney too much!
Inside the bookshop where we had the reception. The reception was in the outdoor cafe at the back – such a cool, fun space full of plants and fairy lights (and lots of graffiti) but all the good photos of it are of guests so I’ll have to find out if anyone got a general venue photo.
Me, my new husband and our amazing bridesmaid and best man doing the ‘bridal twist’ – inspired by the twist scene in Pulp Fiction (we used the same song). having the best time ever.
In case you can’t tell, we had an AWESOME day and I can’t stop looking at photos. so excuse me while I go find other threads to post photos to! sorry if I end up plastering weddingbee with my photos, I’m just excited!
