So basically, I think our photographer is an incredibly talented guy and am in love with the preview he sent to us the other day. I practically squealed in delight when I opened the email 🙂 All credit to Ryan Maxwell of Ryan Maxwell Photography.
First, the ladies got ready (and my ladies of honor finished my bouquet because I’m an eternal procrastinator) –
Then it was the gents and best lady’s turn –
After a little bit of trial and error, they finally got it down (plus our best lady wore the cutest bow headband to match the boys):
Then my little brother/officiant arrived –
And the time came for me to put on my dress (and realize that after 8.5 years, this was finally happening!) –
After a quick application of lipstick, I was off to marry my favorite!

Although Ryan’s still working on the ceremony and dinner photos (along with some colored shots), he also shared a few pictures of us as newlyweds as well as my little monsters (aka, my adorable nieces and nephews) –
Thanks for looking!

@little_d: Thank you! He’s a good friend and has never shot a wedding before. You never would have guessed though! I can’t wait to see the other photos once he’s finished 🙂

Cool pics! Did you request them all to be in sepia?

@flying_hearts: Congratulations! I love the first picture as it’s so natural and captures that moment, that split second. Your dress is beautiful, the lace is gorgeous, especially the top. Enjoy being newly weds.

@Olivepepper: Thanks! I pretty much left all the editing decisions up to him. While I’m in love with the sepia so far, he did tell us he’s planning on giving us some color shots too once he’s done editing them. Since he doesn’t do photography full-time, he didn’t want us to wait until he officially finished to see the shots. This was just a sneak peek of what he’s done working on.
@howsweetitis: Thanks! Me too 🙂

@CatyLady: Thanks! I totally agree about capturing the moment. Ryan is so great at doing that. I can’t wait until he finishes our ceremony photos. There were so many great moments then too 🙂
@lollygagon: & @misschickpea: Thanks, ladies. I’m beyond thrilled right now. Ryan’s never done a wedding so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, he does great work and that definitely shines through 🙂
