these are so cute! we have a cat together too and though I don't love the term, I do use it (and I think it's adorable when our parents call him their "grandcat")
omg super cute!!! I have never heard the term "furbaby" before - it sounds kind of creepy (maybe I am thinking of Furby?), and very demeaning. My mom also calls our cats the grandkitties, which is cute.
The numbers are great!
But I think furbaby is just funny. What's not funny is when your aunt and uncle refer to their dog as your cousin. Seriously people? So long as my parents don't start calling their dog my brother, I think I'll be okay. :oP
ADORABLE!! I'm looking for a way to incorporate our pugs and I'll probably do something similar. The church won't let them be ring bearers. :(
OH my gosh those are SO cute!!! We have 2 cats and a dog and I would love to incorporate them into the wedding but its just not possible. We thought of having the best man walk with our dog up the aisle but our dog loves people so much that he would be thinking all the attention was on him and he would go nuts! As for our cats...well they get sick on car rides so they will be staying behind while we get married!
Cute! They turned out great! We'll be using pictures of our dog for our table names. Her name is Daisy so we're trying to get good pictures of her by daisies!
Aw, that's soooo cute! I love that idea! We have a kitty cat too. My FI never liked cats until we rescued this one from a gutter in Brooklyn (we named him Coal cuz he was super duper dirty), now he adores him just as much as I do. He's more like a dog so maybe that helps :)

I too am a self proclaimed cat lady hehehe...we got two beautiful cats both are almost 5 years old and are sisters!! The other day a friend was joking about having our cats at the wedding only he got the big surprise when he had to listen to my SO and i mentioning how much we would REALLLY love having them there but they just will be too scared :)
I LOVEEE your idea..i might steal it :D it would be SO US because well I tend to get carried away with picture of them..if you c my memory card there are few human pictures in there hahaha ...
I do not hate the term "furbabies" but we call our cats our KID kats hahaha we love kitkats and we also use the word "KITTOS" in place of cat or kitties :) also WE FIND our babies VERY delicious to kiss...before i make this TOO long everybody who knows us enough says "you do not need kids you already have 2"
These are fantastic! I love how you incorporated your cats into your wedding! We're hoping to incorporate his cats into our wedding somehow... we have two cats on our RSVPs, so far - but that's it!
@hermitcrab: "grandcat" is too cute...we have three - and while there are many words out there i can't stand (such as "mancave") "furbaby" i don't mind...but my husband hates it!
thing about the "grandcat"...growing up, we had a couple of dogs, but never cats - my mother HATED them...so when i got into college i got my "baby girl" my calico cat who is now 9.
For about a year - when I first moved in with my husband (who hates cats and to this day - after living together for 3 years and being married, only "tolerates" my baby girl because he has no other choice...but he'll tell you, the dogs are "ours" the cat is "mine")...anyways though - my parents took my cat in for that time...and didn't want to give her back! she is so beautiful and lovable - every time they come over here they want to steal her back!

I may not have mentioned it before (on this board) but I am a self proclaimed cat lady. If I could I would have hundreds of them. For now though I only have 2 (Devlin and Roxy). Even though I hate the word "FURBABIES" I do consider these cats similar to children to me. Both of my cats (one is close to 10 years old and the other is 4) have been with me through the highs and lows of my life (past relationships, several several moves).
When we started planning the wedding I wanted some way to include them, I'm not crazy enough to try to think I could use them as ring bearer's or anything (even I have limits...probably). After some brainstorming I thought of the idea to use the cats photos as our table numbers.
FI and I spent one long afternoon wrangling these very uncooperative cats around a black backdrop with cardboard numbers. FI took the photos and then we had them printed, I spent last night cropping the photos and assembling the frames.
