We got married last Saturday and it was the most amazing day ever!!! I always thought it was corny when people said “my wedding day was the best day of my life!” but now I know exactly what they mean!! Lol It was honestly the best day of our lives!!
Thank you all for all of your advice and kind words over the course of the last year! This board has been great for me!
The wedding day went by in what felt like 5 minutes, so I’m glad that we decided to get the videography!
Everything came together exactly how I had imagined it! There were a few “mishaps” but in the moment, I didn’t seem to care. It was kinda like “it is what is it” or “cest la vie”. Firstly, we were supposed to do our photos on the golf course, but the director of the hall dropped us off at a field. But we found a cool rustic-looking barn and took a bunch of photos there. They actually turned out better than photos at a golf course would have! We were able to be more creative and have fun with it! My dress was dirty with grass stains, flies in the crinoline (lol) and dirt from the grass… but I didn’t even really care. Second, my fiancé stepped on and ripped my dress! Lol We were actually on our way to have a quick bathroom break in between courses and we were rushing so moving quickly…and he stepped on the bottom part and ripped where it was bustled. Thankfully, all of the professional photos were done so I didn’t care. It was kinda of hanging on the floor a bit after that but it didn’t matter at all. All that mattered was that I had just married my best friend, the man of my dreams and I was on cloud 9!!!
Anyway, here are some photos… 🙂 Sorry, they weren’t uploaded in order…
Thanks for looking!!
I made all of the centrepieces… each one took 2.5 hours… but I was so happy with how they turned out!
Montreal Smoke Meat station!
My beautiful bridesmaids!
Something to calm the nerves before the ceremony… I had a shot with one of the groomsmen!
This is the only professional photo I have so far! Such a tease! lol I’m dying to see the rest!!!
Introction as Mr. & Mrs.
