Our amazing photographer has blogged our 7/14 wedding. We had an excellent time – our venue was the beautiful and historic Orcutt Ranch which had so many awesome places for photo ops (we only used about 1/3 of the park!)
Our wedding theme started out as “California wildflowers” but quickly became a mash-up of all of our favorite things, including books, food trucks, whiskey & robots. Most of the wedding is DIY, with some help from a few awesome Etsy sellers.
Check it out for yourselves (we’re the most recent post): http://richardcao.net

I am highly emotional (that time of the month) and cried though many of your pics because you two are so cute and then I accidentally scrolled too far down and saw that adorable baby that follows you two on the blog. Now I am really weeping at the utter preciousness! Great photographer. I need to get off weddingbee until I am emotionally stable lol.

So pretty!! My mom hates weddings, but I have a feeling she would love yours.
And I want to steal that baby in your pictures. XD

@allyfally: I can’t take any credit for that adorable baby…he’s the son of one of my gorgeous friends.
@Brideonabudgetlauren: The centerpieces were aquired through various trips to goodwill for books in our color scheme (gray, yellow and lavender) and a whole bunch of alcoholic friends who saved their nicer whiskey bottles for us (ok…we contributed too.) The table numbers are frames we bought at the dollar store and painted with gray chalkboard paint.
@7monthbride: I was super lucky to get this dress – it was a sample which was the only thing that made it fit my budget!
