I accidently shipped our “out of the box” wooden wedding rings to the wrong address. After much fuss and worry, they have finally arrived. We couldn’t be more happy with them, although I know its not a lot of people’s cup of tea.
We ordered them from http://www.bradswoodworking.com/ and he did great!

I really like the idea.
Curious how long they expect them to last with daily wear? Do you have to worry about water damage?

How lovely ! And that box is to die for ! Do you have any hand pics ? And like PPs asked, do you have any idea about water damage and daily wear?

The rings are water and heat resistant and are expected to last *forever* so long as the wearer uses olive oil to condition them on a regular basis. We were super interested in them because, coming from a family of practioners, we have heard one too many horror stories about having to cut off wedding bands and losing fingers because…well…your fingers break before the metal. You can wear them when you wash your hands, but it probably wouldn’t be smart (as with all rings) to wear them for long periods of time in chemical waters (i.e. swimming).
I will get a hand picture uploaded in a bit 🙂
