I am making a lot of OOT bags, because many of my guests are at least a plane ride away. I am including a couple bottles of water, some fruit like an apple and orange, some crackers, granola bars, and something sweet. I am also including a pack of tissues, and a small packet that has Band-Aids, cotton balls, and q-tips. I am also putting a map, a welcome guide to the city, and a special packet from me and the FH to welcome them as well as go over the schedule of events.
im making three out of town bags im putting water, puertorican candy (the wedding is in puerto rico), flip flops, some anti acid pills, a map, chocolate, pretzels and one bottle of sun block...
I am having OOT bags. I found a website that offered me personalized bags (they are similar to the eco friendly ones walmart and other similar places are selling these days) and then I am filling them with: a welcome note (I am embossing it), gronola bars, water bottles, advil, hand sanitizer, etc
I also love the idea of including something personal and unique to the area....does anything there SCREAM toronto or your home town?
Well these particular guests that are coming are strictly Kosher (we are not having a Kosher wedding but bringing in food for them) so I'm going to go to one of the Kosher grocery stores to pick up stuff I can find there, and I thought about getting them a small gift like a Toronto Maple Leafs hat or something.

So I've been informed by some very close friends of mine in Chicago that they are coming up to Toronto for my wedding this year. I'm super excited, and I want to make some out of town bags for them, but I have NO idea what to put in them. one of them was born here and he has brought his wife numerous times, so they know the city, and they're probably staying with family here rather than a hotel.
I was thinking about filling bags up with some sweet treats, but I've never experience OOT bags, so I need more ideas!
