Bahamas Destination Wedding Brides, would you consider purchasing your Out Of Town gift bags from a vendor locally as opposed to bringing everything down with you? I am wondering if this would be a viable service to offer. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am not getting married in the Bahamas, but am having a destination wedding. I think it would be a great service, especially if presented to some of the resorts so the bride and groom could choose as part of their package.

Make sure you’re clear on exactly what goes in the bag, and if you want to customize it find out what you have to do for that (a welcome note, etc.).
I did my own bags, since I was getting married in the town where I live, and I thought about Destination Wedding brides and what a hassle it would be to try to transport all that stuff. If you can find a good service to do it for you there, I say go for it.

thanks for the suggestions, I was thinking on having a standard list of items and then if the bride wanted notes or an intinerary then I can always print it up and add it in.

Yes this is a great idea! You should do it, I just got married in jamaica 3 weeks ago and wish this service was offered to me.

That’s a great idea! I know I would definitely buy my bags at my Destination Wedding location if the service was offered. So much more convienent. And you may be able to put local things into the bags that Destination Wedding brides can’t get before their trip.

I say market it as a contract service provider to local resorts. We provide adventure activities to resorts with my company and for a small cut the resorts love the extra business these things can bring in. I would say offer a basic list and then add on packages for brides who want to splurge on there guests.

How much would you pay for your Out of Town bags with about 12 – 14 items?
