I bought canvas bags from Hobby Lobby on sale. We wound up paying $15 for fifty of them. (If you look at the ads in the newspaper, you can sometimes get great deals at Michaels and Hobby Lobby.) We're applying a small iron on transfer (I have the sheets for the printer left over from a previous craft project) to each of the bags with our logo.
I used cheap totes! Can't go wrong for .99 cents a bag! We'll be Gocco-ing them!

We had a candy themed wedding and got some awesome bags from a bulk food store. They had candy all over them. They were perfect and the guests really appreciated them.
I had some bags reuseable bags printed up fron the web site Etsy. I just put in a custom bid and got tons of feedback.
I am using simple white paper gift bags(you could use any colors you want). There easily decorated and your not spending a hunk of money on bags that my not be used. This could be your best bet with less than .50 cents with how many bags you need to make. Plus I seriously hope that your taking a trip to Costco.
One of our local groceries, Central Market, just released a new reuseable bag in our wedding colors, so we picked a few dozen up for $.99 apiece. Not only can guests easily stick it in their suitcases and re-use it later on, but they could also use it as a last-minute carryon bag.

Good Evening Bees,
I have been reading the website and board for a few weeks and have been so impressed with the suggestions y'all provide. I have something I need help with and thought of no better place to go than here.
The majority of both my fiance and my family and all of our friends will be traveling to my hometown hundreds of miles away for the wedding. We want to provide them with bags of food, info about the town, a schedule of events, etc. Having been to several events where baskets and buckets and different things are handed out to out of town guests, I end up having to leave the basket behind because I can't take it on an airplane. In order to alleviate that problem, the current idea is to use the reusable grocery bags but have them printed in our colors and with our names and the date of the wedding on it.
Has anyone done something similar? And if so would you recommend it? What vendor did you use? We will probably need somewhere between 50 and 100 bags at most.
Thanks,
Ms. Pomegranate
