I think your idea sounds adorable! It would be different and if ya'll coordinated it well, I think it would make for an amazing reveal.
I came seriously close to doing this, but it didn't come through. Do it! I think its a cute idea for an outdoor ceremony!
Also, a subdued way to make your "grand entrance" is to change songs. My BMs all walked out to "Till there was you" by the Beatles, then when it was my turn there was a pause, then I walked down to "In my life" Johnny Cash's version of the Beatles song. Having that song transistion let everyone know, the "bride is now coming."

I really want an outdoor ceremony, but my biggest concern is how I make my 'grand entrance'. I was thinking perhaps I could have my 6 bridesmaids carry parasols instead of flowers and kind of 'shield' me as we walk up, it wont be quite the same effect as church doors opening, but it's all I can come up with, what do you Bees think?
