Winnekenni Castle is an idea. It’s in Haverhill, MA. It doesn’t have gardens or water features, but the castle makes a nice backdrop. I almost used this venue myself, but decided against it because I wanted a venue onsite, and the castle is too small for my amount of guests indoors. You can google image some pictures of weddings held there.

My friend had her reception at restaurant in Haverhill called Maria’s. Food was good, staff was nice. Gave them free use of a set of speakers and sound system. Downside was that the bar was in the front room, so if you wanted a drink you had to leave the function room.

Or I’ve seen people have small ceremonies at the public garden in Boston. Depends how many guests you have. Boston has tons of restaurants to chose from.
