I'm not sure if this is within the 30 min area or not, but have you checked out Hidden Lake Gardens? It would be beautiful in September!
Thanks for the suggestion, we actually went there last weekend and looked at it but the site that we liked had limited parking and we would have to have everyone walk up and down a pretty steep hill, so we decided against it.
