- Wedding: October 2014
So our ceremony and reception are going to be in the same location. A cute little Victorianish home that does weddings and parties. Our ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. outside in October. Then our reception will be moved indoors. I just looked at the forecasted sunset times and basically it will be dark for all intent and purpose by our ceremony start time.
My question is…What should I do to be sure people can see what is going on without breaking the bank?? I spoke to my venue and they apparently have one spotlight, I plan to hang christmas lights on the gazebo (where we will be standing) and there are already some hanging lights on the gazebo already as well. Do you think that is enough? I added a pic of the outdoor ceremony space. Obviously there will be chairs on the grassy area and an aisle. I’m just worried there won’t be enough light. Am I freaking out about nothing? The venue didn’t seem to be too terribly concerned about it.
So any pointers?
