We got some from Lowes but stuck to the metal kind. Here's what we got:

It's been durable so far and the pillows are heavy enough that they don't fly away. It looks nice and it's not HUGE, either. Or too heavy to move if/when we desire
hello! this is the table we have, along with a mathing bench, chairs and the serving cart. i bought it for us over the summer and i love love love it!!! i know some ikea stuff can be cheap, but it is super good quality, and you can really tell. actually when we were buying we kinda had to fight over the last two folding chairs that were left, so i guess it is pretty popular. and we didnt get an umbrella because our patio has a covering. and i also bought a runner with mathing placemats... and that made me so excited i bought summer dishes from ikea too... so i got totally carried away by this table! haha.
my fmil got us this a few months back when we moved into our new house!
the couple we bought the house from had a set like it, we got brown cushions with a beige umbrella... it is on the pricier side, but my FMIL got if for 50% at $3000 for the entire set.
we got it from a local furniture vendor: jimmie's rustics (michigan) but i'm sure other furn places carry this set. it's beautiful AND comfy!
Thanks for the ideas. I really love the last one though I think we're aiming for a bigger table in the middle. How careful do you have to be with the cushions being outdoors?
they are totally made for the outdoors! durable during snow/rain AND they're sunproof! the color doesn't fade with age or sunwear... they have a lifetime guarantee. you can always switch out the table for a bigger one that matches it, the best thing about the set is that it's round so you curtail it to any size patio/table/etc.
we love it and our friends LOVE that the feel of a nice lounge in our backyard! ;)
We just got this set from walmart

If that link doesn't work it is the 7 piece Sand Dune. It took forever to put together but for $200 we think we got a great deal. All of the pieces and the table are very sturdy and very comfortable. No one has guessed that it was from Wal Mart.

We are thinking about getting a nice outdoor patio table and chairs with some of the wedding money we received. I have no idea about this stuff. I heard teak is a good durable wood. Does anyone have any pictures or good links to some nice stuff or their own recommendations.
Thanks!
