I have my heart set on this one reception site in the southern California area. It’s a replica of the Villa Pilazzo in Florance….needless to say, it’s magical there with the architecture and outdoor garden setting. The only problem is the Villa is booked up for most of the year of 2008, and the only dates available are in November and December.
My question is: For anyone who’s had or have been to an outdoors reception in So Cal in November, was it cold? Do you think it would be ok for the guests?
Thanks a bunch!

I would hit up http://www.weather.com and I believe on the site you can find out what the temp/weather has been in that area on a specific date for the past several years.
I can’t be of anymore help – I’m from MN – and we stop going outside like….now…LOL!

I have not been to an outdoor reception in November but I do live in So Cal. I can tell you that the nights can get chilly and WINDY in November. (i’m going to have the same problem but my wedding is in january). Late mornings and early afternoons are generally pretty nice but if its at night I highly recommend heaters. Also make sure you are within fire codes, its been a DRY summer and the fire dept has a watchful eye.
