It is hard to know what to suggest without knowing your price range! Have you considered: Spanish Point, Selby Gardens, Powell Crosley Estate, Ringling?

Caterers can do meals in an area without a kitchen. It probably drives the cost up a bit, but it is doable.

I’m not sure about when your wedding is but Cabbage Key is a little south of where you were looking and is a private island you can only get to by water.  Can you think of a more beautiful way to say ‘I do’? They have a restaurant with an inn and cottages you can rent. It’s very beautiful and natural. They have a website you should look at.  It’s in Lee County, by Captiva and Useppa Island.  I hope you find what you’re looking for!

There is a place in Sarasota, i have to look up a name. It’s being remodeled to hold weddings, right off Siesta Key drive. While sitting area is inside, it’s all glass, so you will not be locked within 4 walls. They have nice outdoor area with beautiful lake and i believe there is a Gazebo. It’s supposed to be affordable from what i’ve heard. Oh, and apparently they have a kitchen there too.

I will ask my photographer what it’s called, she recommended this place while i was looking at the reception area, but we got lucky with getting a beach house instead. If you can wait till i ask, i will let you know, possibly tomorrow.
