I’m having my wedding in the country (backyard/field wedding actually), and we are planning on spraying the grounds to help with minimizing bugs, but I can’t help but worry if that will be enough?
If you had an outdoor wedding (not at a polished venue) were bugs an issue? How did you deal with/prevent them from being an issue?
Any suggestions are appreciated!

You could always put tiki torches around where the guests are seated all around etc. It will kind of give a boundry but Its not a wall and the fire can be pretty as well as hopefully keeping the bugs away!!!

@organizedbride11: yea that might not be so bad, but we’re in Texas and I’m not so worried about mosquitos so much as like huge grasshoppers and fire ants…

You can hang mosquito netting over the cake.

Ahh didnt read the texas part… well crap idk what to do about those kind of bugs… But I know that fire ants are awful I accidently bent down in a pile when I was little playing hide and seek with my cousins… Anywhoo. Then my advice wouuld to just spray/treat the ground the day before like you said. Sorry thats not a ton of help.
