Hi Girls, I am having my wedding ceremony in a park and I am trying to figure out how to hide before walking down the aisle. I like the idea of my bridesmaids holding umbrellas in front of me to hide but I don’t have a very big wedding party so I don’t think that’ll work. If it comes down to it, I am going to get some room dividers but I am looking for a cheaper option.
Thanks in advance!

Very cute canopy by PP. I’d think stringing a sheet across a clothesline would be simple and effective. Maybe buy one that coordinates with your theme!

you can get one of those backyard tents that have walls =) Some come with the netting walls, but you can just get a few yards of fabric for that day. And the bright side is you can use it in your backyard after!! =)
But I recently found 8 foot pipe and fabric dividers on our rental co’s website, so I may get those and box us in =)

Could you pull up in a cool car or even in a horse drawn carriage?

I don’t understand why the umberellas won’t work. It sounds very pretty.

I was thinking about making my own room divider/screen from plywood. Don’t know if you are handy at all, but I think just a few screws, wood, and some paint and you could have something custom made for your particular wedding. I was even thinking about maybe gluing some styrofoam to the front and pinning leaves and grasses to make it look more natural. You could do this for fairly cheap if you are willing to put in a little time and effort.

Making a divider is a great idea! What about considering pulling up in a vehicle you love?
