I had an outdoor ceremony and I wore 3" heels. gasp!! I know a lot of brides agonize over heels in the grass but it was fine. It even rained the day before my wedding. Really, it was fine. I wear heels often so I didn't think twice about it.
Wedges are a great idea. It's only a few months till summer. You may have better luck then finding wedges.

I'm getting married outdoors and don't want to sink into the grass as I walk to my fiancee, but I don't want to wear flats. I've seen some of the heel-savers, but I'd like to not go that direction if I can avoid dit. I'm thinking wedges, but I'm having a hard time finding cute ones (perhaps I'm a few seasons too late on that trend). Substantial heels would probably be ok too.
Has anyone found cute, colorful, comfortable heels that won't make me sink?
