I posted this morning but I guess WB decided it was spam because I linked to a bunch of venue websites. 

I was married at Rincon Beach Club in Carpinteria.  I have a friend getting married at Lions Park (at this point seems much more affordable than many venues).  Other great outdoor locations include SB Zoo, Montecito Country Club, Four Seasons, Bacara, Elings Park, Chase Palm Park, SB Courthouse, and more. 

If you post some of the things you are looking for like budget range, number of people, beach.park, etc, then people may be able to make some great recomendations. 

@Ms. Meowerson: Have you picked a venue yet? My fiance and I just got back from SB and I'm only more confused. I figured I wanted outdoor for both ceremony and reception, allowed outside catering, and most importantly, allowed us to supply our own alcohol with a licensed server.

I checked out Rockwood Women's Club, Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center, and Casa De La Guerra. Rockwood was super beautiful even though indoors, but the venue, and more importantly, the price were a little upscale for our budget. Since there was no event going on at Cabrillo, I couldn't go inside and had to peek through the windows. Also, indoor. I'd be mad for Casa De La Guerra, but am having trouble with the dirt floor thing. 

Any luck on your end?
