I was married at Rincon Beach Club.  http://www.rinconcatering.com There are outdoor and indoor options.

I have a friend getting married at Lions Park. http://www.lionspark.com Also outdoor and indoor options.

Are you looking for outdoor ceremony and reception or did you want an outdoor ceremony with indoor reception?  Do you know what your budget is?

Here are a few other locations, although not a complete list

I posted this morning but I guess WB decided it was spam because I linked to a bunch of venue websites.

I was married at Rincon Beach Club in Carpinteria.  I have a friend getting married at Lions Park (at this point seems much more affordable than many venues).  Other great outdoor locations include SB Zoo, Montecito Country Club, Four Seasons, Bacara, Elings Park, Chase Palm Park, SB Courthouse, and more.

If you post some of the things you are looking for like budget range, number of people, beach.park, etc, then people may be able to make some great recomendations.

I’m getting married on the terrace of the Santa Barbara Inn but I was going to get married in the Sunken Garden at the Courthouse. My reception will be indoors at the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center.

@rachel077: The arbor is so pretty! We almost chose that as our venue.

Thanks Miss Brown Bear!  Here’s a (non-pro) pic of how it ended up looking…

@Ms. Meowerson: Have you picked a venue yet? My fiance and I just got back from SB and I’m only more confused. I figured I wanted outdoor for both ceremony and reception, allowed outside catering, and most importantly, allowed us to supply our own alcohol with a licensed server.

I checked out Rockwood Women’s Club, Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center, and Casa De La Guerra. Rockwood was super beautiful even though indoors, but the venue, and more importantly, the price were a little upscale for our budget. Since there was no event going on at Cabrillo, I couldn’t go inside and had to peek through the windows. Also, indoor. I’d be mad for Casa De La Guerra, but am having trouble with the dirt floor thing.

Any luck on your end?

My FI and I just went venue shopping a week ago, and we toured a bunch of beautiful venues, from (almost) Goleta, all the way down to Westlake.

*Santa Barbara

Bacara

Fess Parker’s

The Biltmore

*Montecito

Montecito Country Club

*Ojai

Ojai Valley Inn

*Camarillo

Spanish Hills Country Club

*Thousand Oaks / Westlake

Sherwood Country Club

*Also, one we didn’t get to see (because we thought about it last minute and couldn’t get an appointment in time) was the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in downtown Ventura. This is the only place where the ceremony and reception would both have been indoors, but we would have had the option of renting out the penthouse/top floor for the reception.
