I was an OBX bride.  We got married in Kill Devil Hills on the soundfront.  It was an absolute no fuss no muss wedding, which is exactly what we both wanted!

@sunkissed19:  Hi!! I’m getting married in July at Koru Village in Avon.  They just built an event pavillion and it is absolutely beautiful.  When my fiance and I were looking for venues, we almost went with the Inn on the Pamlico Sound (which is absolutely amazing), but we couldn’t get past the fact that we were going to the beach to get married on the sound.  We stumbled into Koru before it was finished and knew it was too perfect to pass up.  Have you made any definite plans?  I’m from NC and I’ve been doing a lot of research on places around Hatteras, a little further south than Kill Devil Hills.  I would be glad to share any information that I’ve found with you!  Good Luck!

@bookera08:  I would be interested in any information that you’ve found! I’m getting married in April, but my sister just got engaged and is in the early stages of researching OBX weddings! My email address is [email protected] Thanks so much!

I’m an OBX Bride as well!  But for me it’s not really a destination wedding.  I grew up around there so I know it pretty well, so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me! 🙂
