    Hi Bees!

So I am in a dilemma that, granted, I created for myself because I am impatient and impulsive. SO I need your help! I am antsy to get my invitations out ASAP because we are having our wedding in Mexico in early August. I recently received the finished invitations, they came with a rather blah white inner envelope, so I decided to get a fun outer envelope to envelope them in (sad but true: puns make my life better).

OK but since I didn't have much time, I didn't order a sample and just got a boxful of A9 envelopes that are half an inch too long for the inner envelope. So it does look a bit off. At this point, I don't want to reorder envelopes (unless you all think that I REALLY REALLY should), so I am thinking these are my options:

    1) Suck it up and hope most people don't notice that there's so much room in the outer envelope

    2) Create a pocketfold for my invitation, RSVP, and insert that will lengthen the invitation package and make the outer envelope an appropriate size

    3) Something else? I toyed with the idea of resizing them myself but that sounds hard...and after 10 minutes of google searches seems to be a new, never tried idea because there's nothing about that anywhere.

    HELP!

I dont think people not planning a wedding pay attention to the details like brides do. Im sure your fun envelope will distract your guests long enough to get to the invitation and they wont even think twice about the 1/2 inch.

Let me add-- I would be as freaked out as you. :)

    Good luck!

    ^^^ good advice

One thing my daughter has learned is to NOT sweat the SMALL stuff~ if someone doesn't think the envelopes are "right" they can DEAL with it!

Enjoy the people who do support you, make it memorable and give you UNCONDITIONAL love.

yeah i think using your fun envelopes would be fine. No one notices these kind of details except us brides :)
