Color coordinating is a bit outdated. Dress like yourself, similar to how you would if you were going to a nice dinner or a trendy lounge. Avoid small, distracting patterns or prints, and don't wear too much black or white.
@USER876: Thank you so much, I figured the color coordinating might be a little cliche, I just want to make sure we are dressed appropriately for the outdoor setting. Thank you so much for the comment!

I have googled, googled and googled some more, on trying to figure out what we should wear for our engagement pictures. Should we color coordinate? Dressy or Casual? I know it all depends on what best fits "your style" but truth be told both dressy and casual fit us. I was thinking a dress, I know it is February but it has been 80 degrees the past few weeks, so Im thinking a dress with cute wedges and maybe an outfit change into jeans, heels, and a top. Decisions, decisions!
The pictures will be in an outdoor-sy setting, a couple under the oak trees, and then a few by the pier, near the beach. Any suggestions, ideas, or examples would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!!
