I would just head to a department store like Macy's. My husband wore jeans and then had three different tops that he switched through out the shoot.. a polo, a button up, and then another button up with a blazer. If your FI is a more casual guy I don't think there's any reason you can't look like your every day selves and have him wear a t-shirt and jeans! But Macy's will definitely have some nice polo's and button ups if you want to spiff him up a bit.
Personally, I just love how guys look in button-down type shirts. My fiance used to be much like yours... all t-shirts, all the time. So I bought him a few button-downs to wear OVER his favorite t-shirts and WITH his favorite jeans and it seems to be a nice compromise. I'm not forcing "my" style on him, just adding to it and dressing it up a little. :) I've gotten him several super nice shirts at TJ Maxx and Marshalls, those are my favorite places for him because I already spend too much on my own clothes.
My fiance wore a black shortsleeve button down and some levis... Nothing too fancy.. He got his shirt at JC Pennys... they have really good prices
Here's one of FI's outfits in our e-pics. Shirt and tie from J.Crew. I love this look on him. 
For our engagement photos, I told my FI the "Theme" if you will, and he choose his outfit (with my approval). We did a "Nice Dinner Date" look, a casual day look, and a beach look.
Overall, I encourage you to work with him so that whatever he wears still is very "him" to make the photos be more authentic.
We ended up going to Macy's and picked out two really nice button down long-sleeved shirts for him. All of his "nice" shirts are short-sleeved so I told him it would be nice to see him in something a little different. I want to do the rolled up sleeves look with his nice Levi's.

Hi Ladies,
Our engagement photo session is coming up soon and FI has nothing to wear. My guy is the type to only wear concert t-shirts, jeans and his worn out vans. Can y'all post your inspiration looks for the guys or point me to some stores we can start shopping at?
