I can’t find the picture right now, but I loved it and made me wish I could have an outdoor ceremony! Will keep looking and post if I find it.

But it was a large tree and they hung stands of ribbon from the branches and a few glass votive holders with one rose inside.

I know you said no flowers but you can basically put anything in the hangers or even just have the ribbon.

It was gorgeous!

For the aisle, Shepard hooks are always wonderful too. Maybe hang a paper lantern from them.

Not sure what look you are trying to achieve.

We did shepherd’s hooks with mason jars and flowers along the aisle. $16 for hooks on craigslist (sold them for the same so they were actually free), $9 for jars from the hardware store, $40 for the flowers from a seller at the farmer’s market. If you don’t want flowers you could hang anything from the hooks. They really made all the difference for us. You can hang a loop of tulle either from the hooks or over the edge of each chair.

The wreaths sound like they’ll be pretty. How about three hooks per side?

I think the Shepard hooks at the beginning, middle, and end would look best as suggested (6 total).

And mason jars with candles or those wreaths sound super cute to me!

Below is not the photo I was talking about previously (i knew I should have saved it!), but has a similar idea with the tree and ribbons.
