@futuremrsdunc: The forums on Pricescope are a great resource for real-life ring pics. Try searching "oval halo" or something similar and you should find what you're looking for! Users there are often not shy about sharing the specs for their diamonds too.
Here's mine! it's a .5 carat center stone with an additional .5 carats of diamonds on the band and in the halo... my fingers are larger (7.5)... I thought I wanted a larger diamond (at least .75) because my hands are larger, but I fell in love with this one and think its a good size with the halo :) Good luck in your search!

OMG your ring is to die for! It looks so classic and a tad vintage, which is my all time fave style. Its gorgeous on your hand! This probably isn't what you are looking for but the sapphire is an oval...and I guess technically it has a kind of halo with the diamonds surrounding...anyway here it is, no idea of carat sizes or anything, its a very delicate ring :)

No one seems to have what i want without making it... and i feel uneasy about buying something that will be made without seeing it! i have decided on a round stone... but am still choosing a diamond. me too i fell in love with an oval halo . . and tol my husband about it then when we came back its already gone it was really sad my heart was broken because ive been searching for the perfect ring when i found it its gone 
By far the best style out there! Here's mine...pretty much the same as you described...center stone 1.5, total 2.1. My ring finger a little smaller than 6, but bigger than 5 and a half xo
Here is mine, I wear a size 6. I actually had mine custom made as I couldn't find many ovals out there.
I wear a size 6 as well. Here is another one of it in the box. The center stone is 1 carat and there are 88 small diamonds around it which total .32.

Ring specs: .62 oval center, E color, VS2; .55 surrounding G color, SI1
Mine is a 1ct oval center with a diamond double halo and split pave band. 1.37 total, including the wedding band. Size 7 for scale :) Sorry the pictures are so huge and wavy, dang camera phone :)

Hello, all!! I recently saw an oval halo engagement ring and fell in love with it! I still love a round solitaire with a diamonds on half the band... but this is a great choice also! Does anyone have one? If so would you mind letting me know the size of the diamond and the size of your finger?? I have a 5.25 finger, and am looking to get a 1.05 or so. Can't wait to see pictures!!! :)
