lyss222: Since my very early twenties I have had almost the exact same thing, terrible right ovary pain that begins after my period and goes away after ovulation a couple of weeks later. It is also sometimes relieved by eating or having a bowel movement. My doctor figured it was endometriosis but I wasn’t keen on surgery until I had tried to have a baby. I ended up getting pregnant on the first try last year and the pain went away completely during pregnancy. I have been breastfeeding for the last eight months and have had the pain very briefly a handful of times, but hardly ever (I also haven’t gotten my period back yet). My plan is to breastfeed as long as possible and then try for another baby, hoping to keep this at bay until we’re done having children. At that point I would consider surgery if it was still a problem. But I want to encourage you that at least for me it didn’t interfere with fertility and that pregnancy seems to have helped it tremendously. Good luck and I hope you have the same experience!

lyss222:  hey! Im so sorry you are going through this. I jave been oing through the exact same thing. Im 22. It started around 16/17 for me. My cysts kept rupturing and I was diagnosed with IBS. I realized that the birth control was not helping after a while amd I stopped taking it.  I started focusing on the special dietary restrictions for IBS. Once I figured out the foods that made my pain flair up worse its been so much better. They wanted to do an exploratory surgery on me before but they changed their mind after I didnt have any pain for 6 months.
