I'm wondering if my ovary pains are a Clomid issue, just totally normal, or something else.  I'm not going to consider it as an early pg sign because it's definitely my ovary (although I see a bunch of people mention it in their early signs).  I've definitely felt it before, but it's really strong pinching today pretty constantly throughout the day.

What causes it?  Is the corpus luteum working extra hard pumping out hormones?  Is it a cyst?

What are you ovary pain experiences?

    (I'm 7dpiui, probably 6dpo - 50mg Clomid cycle)

@Mrs Green Grass:  Are you on any kind of progesterone suppositories or supplements? Since I've started taking prometrium I've noticed the constant pinching/pain. I felt it all through the day yesterday (was 5DPO) and it was a very present pain. Today it's still kind of there but nothing like yesterday.

When I had ovary pain all the time (even when I wasn't Oing). Seemed worst on progestrone (used to stop a really long AF) or prometrium (used after O/IUI). But I had it while on Clomid too.

My best advice during a medicated TWW--ignore your symptoms, they are just messing with your head. Seriously the best advice I read on another board. I just chanted it to myself everytime I started to Symptom Spot- ignore your syptoms, ignore your syptoms, ignore your syptoms. Especially after I read that, I think it was, @heathaah had NO symptoms during the TWW that she got her BFP on.

Seriously, medications are just messing with your head!! LOL

@Mrs Green Grass:  I've never been medicated and have always had pinching/twinges after ovulation.  For me its hormonal.  Before my myo, they were worse because of my fibroids.  Now its just a twinge here or there @ night mostly.

I'm not taking prog...so maybe mine is just high which is a good thing!

@mmsva:  I'm not symptom spotting.  I have learned that EVERYTHING is called a symptom and almost nothing really is.  I'm just curious about it.

My ovaries were also really sore around O this cycle.

@Mrs Green Grass:  so strange, i am having a similar pinching and pulling feeling in what i think it my ovary as well this cycle. I am 13 dpo and know for sure i am not KU, so I was just so confused as to what it could be....i am using progesterone cream though, so maybe that is causing it? i didnt know it could do that....if you are feeling something similar though, maybe that means your producing lots of progesterone!

I've been getting ovary pains randomly throughout my cycle since starting metformin.  I actually haven't noticed getting them when I take progesterone.  It bugs me because one side will hurt for a few times (sometime really sharp pain) then the next time around it'll be the other side.  I have no idea what's going on!  No explanation it for it, sorry, just chiming in about getting them too.  I plan to ask my doctor about it next time I go in.

I had really bad ovary pain on Clomid, especially during my 100mgs cycle in October. I thought it was either hyperstiumulation or a cyst, and even went to the doc for an ultrasound to check for a cyst. Nope! Nothing there. Just stupid clomid side effects. :P On the bright side, that was how I learned that my lining was 10mm. We were doing unmonitored cycles so it was cool to know that it doesn't thin my lining.

@bunny:  That is excellent news about your lining.  Mine's only 7 and that's good for me!
