I think I know what you are talking about.  Most women can’t wait for it to be over. I loved being pregnant.  My baby boy was born a month early. I was not ready for that.  I felt like I got cheated. I moved on and loved every minute with him.  I do think hormones play a big part in it.  Best of luck with your little boy.

I’m only 4 months along, but I just wanted to say congratulations!  I totally understand about the surge of emotions though, I’m never emotional but hormones do funny things lol.

eecuadrado:  Enjoy the last few weeks! Like a PP my daughter was born 5 weeks early which was a huge surprise! I was a little bummed bc the ice cream place near our home that is seasonal was finally open that weekend and DH and I had big plans for fries and a shake that night. Our beautiful DD ruined those plans! Of course DH brought me my milkshake to the hospital the following day. The love you’ll feel when that baby is born truly is amazing and like nothing that I had ever experienced. My DD is just a few weeks away from turning 1 and I remember feeling like you this time last year. It goes by so fast! She was a sweet squishy newborn for just a little while and now she is a “big girl” who says hi and stands up on her own and certainly has a personality! Good luck mama!!

Oh my goodness! I don’t know what I’m going to feel like when I’m due in 53 days. I’m just under 100 days to go and Ive been feeling the same way as you for the past 3 weeks. I’m gonna be a mess as the day approaches. It really is bitter sweet. I start having these feelings and thoughts that he will never be as close to me as he is now and in a way, I feel like I’m losing a friend (sounds silly I know) as I think we bond pretty well from him moving when I speak to him. When I explain it to others I start choking up lol! So I totally understand how you’re feeling.

I remember crying in the shower at the hospital after my daughter was born because of how much flatter my tummy was…just missed rubbing my hands over it (and her!).  It’s more bittersweet than you realize!

I’m at 65 days today and I am starting my freak out! The realization that he could come at any time now is crazy! I’m not ready to not feel his gymnastics routines on my rib cage anyore. I’m not ready to not have DH kiss and talk to my tummy any chance he gets. I’m not ready to hold this little squishy thing in my arms. I love my son so much, but I really want him to stay put till the due date! The longer the better haha.
