One of my friends just had a baby. I guess she has an infection in her breast but she feels the need to post about it all.the.time. She’s always posting about how her breasts have never hurt this much in her life and today she posted that the “clogged duct in my left breast is becoming softer”. Anyone else feel that is an overshare? I’m thrilled for her but I don’t want to hear about her breasts on facebook.
Anyone else have any friends who overshare like this?

I have an FB friend who posts EVERY SINGLE TIME one of her kids gets a runny nose, then begs people to pray for them. OMG quit praying and go get the baby Tylenol, they’ll be FINE! She is borderline Munchausen’s. I mean I don’t think she CAUSES their sicknesses, but she’s all too happy to post pity-me statuses when they get sick (which is ALL THE TIME) so people will console her and pray for her. UGH.

this might sound rather cold of me (keep in mind I have a child of my own so this is nothing against mothers in general that post about thier kids) but there is a friend who I deleted the other day because literally every post was like “taylor thinks daddy is the silliest daddy ever!” and then a picture a few minutes later that says “taylor went to costco!” and its a pic of the baby in a costco shopping cart. then i kid you not like a half hour later another picture of the baby laying next to a rack of meat (yes as in like ribs that you eat) and it says “oh no! daddy bought a piece of meat thats bigger than tay tay!” ……ok so i get that its her first baby and the baby is adorable but holy jesus! I do not need to see every five minutes something new about tay tay. do you know she would post about what type of poops taylor was having when she was first born?! wtf!!!! I think beyond the annoyance of how often this happens is the fact that EVERYONE knows that the baby’s father cheats on her regularly and she knows it too but she makes it out as if they are this happy little family. its kind of sad actually. Either way, as im sur eyou can see this really got me going when i saw the whole over share on facebook lol. sorry for the rambling post! I know its not the same as posting about clogged boob ducts but still its like wayyyy overdone….

I block those “I’m just a spec right now, but soon I’ll be doing algebraic equations in the womb!” type applications that have the little charts and cartoons. I get it; you’re excited. But I understand how a baby develops, and I prefer to keep separate biology class and facebook time.
My current facebook status peeve is a friend who posted a few weeks ago about her car being repossessed and now she just posted about how mad the bill collectors make her. I really, really want to comment like “they’ll stop calling you if you pay your bill.” I get that bill collectors can get attitudes and be rude, but I hate the hostility towards it — it’s your own fault for not managing your money properly!

Ugg! thats revolting
I had a friend who overposted about her mental state and her revolving relationship door. I couldn’t take it and deleted her.

I dont know what it is about facebook that makes people completely lose all sense of boundaries.. its really weird.

I had a friend on there more like my aunt that is alway so negative and post the most negative stuff about her and her relationship and everyone. I understand not everything is rainbows and roses but EVERY DAY every status!?!!? I couldnt take it anymore. I deleted and blocked her. If she ask I will tell her I deleted my facebook.

Yup I think that is way Too Much Information.

Yeah, that’s just too much. After doing some spring cleaning on my friends list a while back, there are some people I just need to stay connected with for whatever reason, but I hide a ton of them now from my newsfeed.
And I block ALL those quizzes/apps whatever from my feed.
I really could care less about your bathroom habits, medical details, your child’s every.waking.move or your family drama.

For those of us who don’t have children…gross. I think people post WAY to much information on facebook these days!

These are all so funny to read! When they’re not in my Facebook feed, of course.
I hate the on-again off-again-ers. Those people who update their status everytime they’re in a fight with their SO. And they say things cryptically just begging for attention.

wow… that is entirely Too Much Information
@stardustintheeyes: oh gosh… I have someone on my friends list who does that ALL the time! I have now blocked her from my wall because everytime the child did something it was on facebook and it seemed like every 5 minutes she would post about how she has the best baby ever (her “baby” is 3 now) and that she is the best mommy ever becuase she is going to school.

My Brother (yes!) and his girlfriend post nasty sex stuff about eachother on their Facebook walls! Uh… TMI???
She also posts shit about my parents. Which makes me boil.
Oh, and she also posts about how “they’re too poor to buy light bulbs” and the next update is “we’re looking for a place to buy a dog!”
uh… can’t afford light bulbs, yet, you’re getting a dog… that costs money…. Right…
And it’s funny, she’s always the person to jump and say “OMG, I HATE when people air their dirty laundry all over FB!”

@tee22: oh I love those! one minute they are freaking out because their Boyfriend or Best Friend is a big a hole and they hate them and wish he was dead or that they are “so done with his shit” but then 5 minutes later the new status is something like “oh I have the best man ever he is so sweet, I love him so much <3”
