Has anyone dealt with overstock.com for their jewelry? There are some very nice wedding bands on there but since they have only recently started shipping to Canada I am not sure what to expect.

I did not use them for any wedding jewelry (I should say yet, because some of the men's wedding bands look nice).  I did buy FI a "chain link" bracelet from there about 3 years ago... he loved it and still wears it!

My fiance bought my engagement ring from Overstock.com.  It was very reasonably priced, and I loved it.  After a year of daily wear, the band of the ring snapped, and I had to take the stone out and get it set in a new setting and a new band.  I love the new ring about 10 times more than the old one, especially the way the stone looks.  But just be aware that sometimes, with their less expensive jewelry, there may be an issue with wear.

(this is my ring: http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/10k-White-Gold-Mystic-Fire-Topaz-Ring/2614135/product.html?cid=123620&fp=F&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=10821650-000-001 and he got it when it was just under $100)

If you look at the specs on their diamond rings, the quality is not that great. Usually in the H-I range, and the cut is just mediocre. One of my friends got her ring from there and you can tell it's not a good cut.

I haven't bought jewelry from Overstock, but I have to say I highly recommend them! I bought FI a coffe maker as a gift when we first got together. I had it shipped to him. It was a Cuisinart Grind & Brew and retailed for about $160 at the time. I got it for $70, but when it arrived, it didn't have a filter and had obviously been returned because it had a little coffe in it. I sent a comlaint to Overstock and their response was to credit me in full and they told me to keep the coffe maker! Amazing. I ended up with a coffee maker for free and all he had to do was buy a $12 filter and clean it.
