Hi! So I am preparing Save the Dates for my wedding and I’m having so much trouble choosing a design. It’s the first visual thing that I’m doing and I’m very much stuck!
I’m not even that choosy. I have the big things – the venue, the dress – and it was easy to make a decision but I am seriously stuck!
I’m doing a peaches and cream, vintage classic theme. Does anyone have any ideas that they’ve done with either of those elements? I feel like I’ve over-saturated myself with internet searches and pinterest.

@MrsP0801: Why not something super simple like this:

Either of those are great. Just ask yourself how formal do you want the wedding? How do you want guests to dress, etc. I think this makes the paper decisions easier. The first one is more trendy, fun, casual. The second one is more classic, formal, traditional, romanitic. Which better describes how you picture your event?
BTW: With save the dates don’t have to match your eventual invites nor do they necessarily set the tone of the event since they are mailed so far in advance. So even if you picked one and then wanted to change the tone later with your invites, that will be fine.

@MrsP0801: How about something like this? I think it’s both vintage and classic. You can order it in custom colors; it’s from weddingpaperdivas.com. I ordered my bridal shower invitations from there and they came out great.
I think this could look really pretty with a peach background and faded peachy-cream mix for the design, gold font.

Hey guys! Thanks for the awesome advice and great ideas!
My wedding is in the summer so we are thinking cocktail attire. I guess it’s semi-formal. My fiance loves all the formal stuff and I like all the vintage stuff lol.

I thought the second one was an actual invitation at first glance because it looks so formal and has so much more information than a normal STD does. I don’t think most people spell out the date on the STD, they only do that for the invite. So maybe think about having a more casual STD and more formal invite, that could be a good comprise with you and your FI’s preferences.

Hey all thanks for the advice!! If you look at my other post, you’ll see I picked one. Classic ecru card with the words Save the Date, our names, the date, and the city….
