I have some mild O-pains for a day or two after ovulating, but nothing like you are describing. I would definitely call your doctor to at least check in and see if she has any suggestions.

Sometimes when you ovulate, there’s blood and/or fluid that gets released out into your pelvis and that can cause irritation and pain.  Or, your cramps could be completely unrelated to ovulation.  Unfortunately, the nerves down there aren’t very specific and a many different things can cause the same type of sensations to be felt in terms of pain and cramping from your bowels to your uterus to your bladder, etc. etc.

I also am feeling cramping after O.  I read somewhere that it could be a symptom of implantation. I’m trying not to read too much into it, but I experienced cramping last cycle as well and got a BFP (it ended in MC). The pain I’m feeling isn’t generalized, it’s really only on my left side.  Crossing my fingers everything is ok for you and I agree with the PP that maybe you should contact your doctor.
