I was actually just posting in the February POAS thread about this!! I’m pretty sure I’m feeling some ovulation pain tonight – it’s like some sharp’ish pain below and to the left of my belly button – and I remember feeling the same thing around the same time in my cycle in December – so I’m fairly confident that it’s ovulation! It was also on the left side last month.. I think I read somewhere that you can have a “dominant” side to ovulate from…

It’s like random squeezing-cramping, but in a very specific isolated small spot..

@Purple_Bride:  I only ever feel it on my left side. It’s a pinching pulling feeling. It can last for hours or days.

Because I only feel it on one side I don’t feel it every month but recently I’ve felt it most months.

I feel after I’ve ovulated, I just feel a little worn down and a bit similar to a day around AF where I am a tiny bit crampy. tired, and I get SUPER moody.

I learned from using OPKs that I feel that way the day after I O.

Nothing at all! I wouldn’t have any clue about ovulation unless I had charted my temperatures.

Signs of O:

I have O pains usually, a little to the left or right (usually right)of my belly button but down low close to my pubic/bikini line (like just above the “hair” line)

I sometimes notice EWCM but don’t usually check.

I am horny, lol…it’s true!

I feel I look better than usual, I feel prettier & more vibrant, find myself smiling more. I think it totally makes sense.  Biology rocks!

Like PMS cramps, but focused onto one side or the other, and “pinchy”/sharper.  For me, much, much sharper.  Last time it happend, if it hadn’t been on the left instead of the right, I’d have sworn I had appaendisitis.  It hit when I was on the couch at night, and I couldn’t even get up to go to bed.

I used to never know when I was ovulating until I turned the big 30. Suddenly I would start spotting a little during some cycles right before ovulation (OB/GYN said it was relatively normal) and lately I have some cramps, but not as bad as when I am having my “girlie time” aka period. I wonder if that’s just nature’s way of saying, “Get on with it and procreate already!”
