P90X??

    I just ordered the P90X fitness program online. Has anyone else used this program and had results?

    I am very excited to have it, and can't wait to see myself 90 days from now!

    It's a really great program. I loved it when I was using it. You just have to make sure to stick to it and not half-@ss the workouts because if you do then there's no point to even trying.

    As long as your are diligent in using it, follow the diet plan, and follow the exercise plan, P90X does exactly what it promises to.  I used it, loved it, and lost 2 sizes and 20lbs.  But I was VERY strict with my diet which I think helped a lot.

    ive seen the infomercials on this. i wanted to buy it but thought id be lazy and not do it. I ran across a new one that looks way similar to P90x its called insanity?

    FI and I have been doing P90X for the past 2 months and we love it!!! FI has lost 13 lbs and I have lost 5...it is amazing! FI was following the diet but I am not and have not been and I have still lost weight. I dont do the whole program because the weight lifting videos are a little too hard for me. The thing about the work outs is to just do your best. Dont worry if you cant finish the DVD (at first) or do all the reps they do in the video or if you have to pause it to get a glass of water or catch your breath. JUST DO YOUR BEst! Tony Horton will say this a million times throughout the DVDs so take his advice. Even if you just do the work outs (I would say at least 4 days a week) and eat healthier (even if you arent following the diet exactly) you are still going to see results. Its important to take your picture the day you start. ANd then you can take it again every few weeks. Also, make sure you read the whole booklet before starting the program. Even if you dont take it as seriously as you could, it will still be a good starting point and reference. Also, there is a DVD called "Watch This First/Bring It" that has some bonus work outs on it. My favorite work out in the entire program is called "Cardio Intervals" and its on this DVD. It is tough to do at first (I only did the first half the first time I did it) but it is a lot of fun and well worth it! My favorite DVDs so far (I havent tried all of them) are Cardio, Core Synergistics and Cardio Intervals. If you didnt buy the resistance bands its a good idea to get some light(er) weights I would say 5 or 8 lbs depending on your level. I start with 8 lbs and then when I get tired I switch to 5. It took me a few months of working out until I was ready to use the 8 lbs though so dont get discouraged if they feel really heavy!!!! The last thing I will say is to make sure you eat enough throughout the day!!! If you dont and then you work out you will not feel good! Ok, Ive carried on too much, but I love the program and even though Im not as dedicated as I could be, I will still never go back to any other work out

    We just finished our first week and I really loved it.  We did all of each workout each night and a different part of me was sore every morning.  We need to iron out the nutrition plan, because there seems to be a lot to it.  But we love it so far!

    Starting the week off tonight with chest and back!
