I did it for like 2 weeks and gave up. It's so much work! I want to start again though. Someday. Maybe.
@TheLionQueen: It is easy to give up because they are ridiculously tough. I find now that FI and are doing it together we push each other to get through it.
LOVE p90x! It's a tough workout for sure. I find that you already need to be in pretty good shape to keep up with it.
After doing it all the way through, I started just picking and choosing the workouts that were my favorites to rotate through every now and then (though I haven't done any in while).
I love the kenpo-x and cardio. :) Plyo is intenssee..
@Jazziberry:How were your results?? My goal is to tone and lose the thighs!
@linz09: I bet it's way easier with a dedicated work out buddy. I was in it alone. :( lol.
@TheLionQueen:I NEED a partner to work out with or I just give up. haha It's easy to cheat when you're by yourself!!
@linz09: No kidding. I was like 40 minutes into the workout and I'm like...I'm DONE! And off to the couch I went. lol. It's so intense. It's only 90 minutes...but those 90 minutes are...well, H-E double hockey sticks. If you catch my drift.
@linz09- I'm pretty slim, but with an athletic build. I found that doing the whole workout regimen as it was meant to be done made me more "muscular" than I wanted. It will certainly tone and tighten you up, though! Just make sure you stretch really well and actually engage your muscles in the workouts. I just want to maintain and keep toned what I've got, so that's why I started doing the workouts a la carte for the ones that worked best for me.
You'll be happy with your results, I'm sure!
@Jazziberry:Fingers crossed! I am only needing to lose the last 5-8 lbs and I will be happy. Hopefully this will do the trick!!
My boss does it and keeps trying to get me to do it with her. It scares the crap out of me! lol

@brideatbeach: Do it! I'm not going to lie but my upper body is in some pain right now but that means it's working!
It was really tough at first. but it is getting easier the more we do it.
I'm starting tomorrow...for the 3rd time! lol This time around I'm going to try the Lean program just to switch it up a bit and see how it goes! Hopefully this time around I will have the motivation to stick with it. We are wanting to TTC in November and I want to be in tip top shape, guess we will see :)
I did the first two phases and then got bored, and had to switch to something outdoors. It works, for sure!! I still do the yoga every once in awhile and the AbRipper X sometimes. For the most part though, I have been a slug for the past few weeks, and wedding is 20 days away (oops... Thank Goodness for that inner corset and spanx).
I really should try and get some arm work in before the big day though.
We did yoga today! I needed to stretch out my back because it is in a ton of pain. I only made it through half of it because my back wasn't putting up with it. Definitely loading up on the A535 and just going for a run tomorrow instead of weights
I'm doing Supreme 90 instead, since I don't have the cash for P90X or the time to devote 60-90 minutes a day! I think that if I did start P90X, I'd quickly quit because of the time commitment it entails. Supreme 90's workouts are between 35-45 minutes and so far, I am liking it!
@7SEVENJ9:That is a definite con of p90x - it does take awhile!!
How are you liking supreme 90?
I've heard really good things about p90x from people. Maybe something for me to try out at some point. (I'd need to get in a bit better shape first.)
@linz09 - so far so good - I'm four days in and I am DEFINITELY feeling it! And this is coming from someone who works out regularly! I have done 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, a host of other Jillian DVDs and other boot-camp style workouts... and S90 is making me sore all over again (in a good way!). I am psyched to keep it up and see what sort of results I can get!
I just completed my last P90X workout. I did the lean version. It feels good to have that accomplishment under my belt.
@completelyrandomsally:How were your results?
We are doing legs tonight after a 2 day rest due to sickness and bad back! Fingers crossed we get through it! hah
@stbMohror:How was your first week? We are on our second. It is definitely getting easier the more we do it. We did plyro last night and it was fairly easy (except for the leap frog squats. Those kill me!)

Is anyone doing P90x to help them get in shape?? I've done it on and off in the past with FI but never the full out plan.
BUT we have decided to do it full force. YEsterday we did back and shoulders and today plyro! Plyro kicks my butt everytime we do it.
