@tinaspoon: Unfortunately, that's pretty much all you get. The state of PA doesn't offer any type of paid maternity leave. The only thing you have in addition to your disability is Family Medical Leave. It runs concurrent with your disability and you have 12 weeks of unpaid leave. So if you get 6 weeks of disability paid, you'll get the other 6 weeks unpaid, and that's it unless your company has some sort of maternity policy. Unfortunately, these days, most companies don't.
Yup, I'm with @2PeasinaPod: on this one. I work for a major medical center in Pittsburgh (the 4-letter one) and that's our policy. 6 weeks paid, 6 unpaid under FMLA.
@emily1014: not a small world, just a HUGE company. ;) where do you work? I work in Cranberry M-Th and in Oakland on Fridays.
@tinaspoon: sorry, what's a BSC? lol
lol sorry I assumed you all working in that area would know - I work in wraparound.. mental health services for kids in their homes

Hey all- I'm not preggo but will be trying after we get married. I just had a couple questions because I am so confused on what to plan for!
My employer offers short term disability coverage that I pay out of check for. (I already pay for this).... does the state of PA pay anything on top of that or is that what I get? I'm confused?
